I'm the breeder behind Big Sky Aussies located in Park City, MT. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament. They are extremely intelligent and athletic and are purposefully bred for performance, conformation, and to excel at working on the farm or ranch. They are velcro dogs and enjoy being with their people whatever they are doing.
Q. & A. with Trina
Why did you start breeding?
It all started with one beautiful red merle female and her breeder who has been my mentor. I had my first litter with her and never looked back. I can't imagine life without breeding these wonderful dogs.
What makes your program special?
We work hard to produce well-rounded puppies by working every day to introduce them to new sounds, sights, textures, and surfaces. We start work on potty training at 3 to 4 weeks and most puppies are at least 90% potty trained by the time they go to their new home.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
