I'm the breeder behind Big Sky Poodles located in Ryegate, MT. Our goal is to produce gorgeous, healthy dogs that are fun to live with! Dogs that are willing and can do whatever it is that you ask of them. Dogs that you will not only fall in love with but cause you to fall in love with the breed also.
Q. & A. with Audrey
Why did you start breeding?
As a child, I wanted to raise dogs. As a newlywed, we raised border collies. Then came the person who bought a horse. She told me she raised standard poodles. The rest is history! I researched the breed, visited breeders, and learned about the breed. I am so glad to have been found by this breed! They are so versatile and have so much to offer.
What makes your program special?
Health, dispositions, and quality conformation make my program special. All three are necessary or there is heartbreak. I do not sell dogs, I place dogs. The home has to be a good fit for both humans and dogs. My pups can always come home. No questions asked. Each litter is raised in my home, hands on, pre-loved. Parents are health tested, and I study new health research and pedigrees to learn what is best.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

“The price includes age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, AKC registration application papers, and grooming. The deposit applies to the total due. In the event we do not get what you specified on the deposit, then you may apply it to the next available litter or it can be refunded. For example--you stated you wanted a black female and the litter was all-male, then the deposit can be refunded or applied to another litter. However, if we did have a black female and you decided not to buy a puppy, then it is not refundable.”
