I'm the breeder behind Big Stretch located in White Cloud, MI. We breed top-quality Poodles with a focus on health and temperament and we have years of experience in preparing puppies for their forever homes. Why did you start breeding?
My family has had poodles for 45 years. My mother has been breeding champion dogs and currently has the #1 standard poodle in the U.S. (UKC).
What makes your program special?
I have not only my mother, but her mentors and friends, to educate and support me and help me make the right decisions for the right reasons - for the health and longevity of the breed.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppy prices range from $2,000 - $2,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“Price includes a 2 yr health guarantee, 2 sets of immunizations, worming, AKC registration, and a complete puppy pack to take home. All of our puppies are the same price, and are sold as pets with AKC registration and AKC Reunite microchips. Deposits can be forwarded to a future litter.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation , Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Temperament Test, Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
