I'm Jaymi B., the breeder behind Bristle Creek Wirehaired Pointing Griffons located in Omro, WI. We are dedicated to placing each of our puppies with
active families who are able to provided a home that is suited to their temperament and abilities. Families that are active NAVHDA and or AKC members and/or hunters are given highest preference. That said we have found active non-hunting families that were wonderful fits for our program.
Q. & A. with Jaymi
Why did you start breeding?
Our Bristle's breeder introduced us to the idea, and we kept it in the back of our minds while training with NAVDHA. The more Grifs we saw, the more we realized that Bristle is an excellent example of the breed with all the traits she should have. Unfortunately many grifs bred today do not.
What makes your program special?
Bristle Creeks focus to is uphold that Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Standard, not only in conformation, but in what they were bred to do HUNT. We focus on temperament, biddability, and drive which has allowed us to produce excellent hunting partners for families.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
