I'm the breeder behind C and J Minis located in Keller, TX. We are a small in-home that focuses on the temperament and the health of all of our puppies. Our dogs and pups are our passion! Although we breed our dogs for temperament as well as health, we are also dedicated to the preservation and betterment of the breed.
About Donny
I am retired and have always loved Dachshunds. Everyone admired my dogs and people started asking me to help them to find a puppy for themselves. After attempting to help friends and family find the right pet, I was so disappointed at what I was finding. I then began a mission to better the breed and to offer reasonably priced dogs to others.
What makes Donny’s program special
I am a very small in-home breeder who focuses on producing healthy and well-socialized puppies. All dogs are thoroughly tested and studied before being allowed as part of my program.

Donny has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $1,500 - $3,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“Color, Size, Pedigree, and Genetics all determine pricing for my puppies. $500 deposit is required to reserve any puppy. Once reserved the puppy is no longer advertised to the public. The deposit is deducted from the total price of the puppy.”
Donny may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Donny offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Donny directly.
Our puppies begin ENS and ENI training from 1 week of age. Therefore the puppy is accustomed to different forms of touch, sound, and different faces and stimuli from an early age up until leaving for their new home. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Scent introduction, Bathing, grooming and nail trimming., Early Neurological Stimulation, Socialized with other animals, Puppy Culture, Daily handling, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Various sounds, We use individual daily human interactions for early socialization and stimulation, We begin potty training along with crate training & believe the two go hand in hand., Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) , Early Socialization, Crate Training, and Potty Training.
All puppies receive a Neopar vaccination at approximately 30 days of age and are wormed at the same time. At 8 weeks of age, the puppy will be vaccinated with the first vaccine and will be microchipped.
We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Microchip, Vet records, Food & treats, and Toys.
Donny offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.
