I'm Joanna M., the breeder behind Catskills Greatest Danes located in Liberty, NY. We work hard to produce healthy, well-rounded Great Dane puppies that will make others as happy as our dogs have made us! Our Sire & Dam are OFA Health tested and our sire has a DNA test on file. Our puppies come with the following: AKC certifications, one-year health guarantee, clean bill of health from the vet, deworming, AKC reunite microchips, and a puppy pack!

Why did you start breeding?
After being raised watching my parents breed dogs all my life, I chose to follow in the same footsteps except change the breed.What makes your program special?
Our pets are raised in our household full of love, socialization, and around children and other animals. I’ve followed top-quality European Kennels for many years before selecting the dogs in my breeding program. We breed for quality, temperament, body structure, and bone structure.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and white, harlequin, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Joanna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price of the Puppy includes the following: Akc Certified (Limited Or Full depending) One-Year Health Guarantee Starter Puppy Packs Microchipped With AKC Reunite Clean bill of Health Dewormed. Our puppies require a deposit to be held once born and the remainder of payment on puppies is due at the 6 week mark.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Inherited Myopathy in Great Danes (IMGD)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
