Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Double T Mini Aussies located in Smiths Station, AL. I breed quality mini and small standard Aussies for loving family companions, show/competition, work, and therapy. My dogs are genetically tested and raised in the home as part of the family. Puppies are on a comprehensive vaccine and worming protocol, and are raised with modified Puppy Culture, ENS, enrichment, and exposure to various noises and textures. I offer a genetic health guarantee and lifetime support. I strive to provide each family with a healthy, happy, well-rounded puppy. I make every effort to educate prospective buyers and match each pup with the appropriate family for a lifetime of love, loyalty and wonderful memories! I encourage buyers to research and choose the breeder they want to work with before they shop for a puppy. I am always available to answer questions!

Q. & A. with Terri

  • Why did you start breeding?

I've always loved Aussies and after several years of research, decided that I would like to contribute to bettering the breed. I have been involved in rescue in the past and needed to feel comfortable that I would be a responsible breeder and live up to my own moral and ethical values.
  • What makes your program special?

I make every effort to produce high quality pups. They are born and raised in my home, handled and evaluated daily. I watch as personalities develop and do my best to match a pup to an appropriate family, not just make a sale. Puppies are on a comprehensive vaccine program and wormed starting at 2 weeks of age and every 2 weeks until 8 weeks of age, then monthly. They begin housebreaking, crate and leash training before leaving for new homes at 10 weeks of age.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blue merle and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
