I'm the breeder behind Doxie Acres PA located in Vestaburg, PA. We breed amazing companions that come well-adjusted to family life and ready to enjoy their journey with you. Our puppies are born in our home and raised in a family setting. Handled from an early age they come well socialized and transition easily into your family. They come well loved and ready for snuggles as well as being handled by children.
Q. & A. with Amanda
Why did you start breeding?
Being a breeder was always a "maybe later" dream of mine. I researched, read books, and talked with a few different breeders before making the decision. In the end I want to make sure more families get to have healthy, well raised, and happy family companions.
What makes your program special?
My program is small, because of that all my puppies get to be very socialized. They get to live their early days among other dogs in a family setting where they are spoiled and cuddled.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, red, black, chocolate, brindle, blue and tan, blue and cream, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

I love Doxie Acres, she sent me updated every week! When we got the puppy she gave a bag filled with treats and toys! I would recommend her to everyone if they are looking for a puppy!

Doxie Acres was an awesome experience from start to finish. I am located in CT and trusted good dog with my find considering I am almost 8 hours away. After chatting with Amanda about what i was looking for I connected with one of her precious girls. Once I did the deposit Amanda at Doxie Acres updated me weekly with pictures and stories. I never had to wonder or ask. She was incredibly communicative and helpful ! When we flew out to get our girl she met us at the airport which was convenient. She gave us the nicest welcome home bag for the pup ! So kind and generous.

I found this website by chance on night as I was mourning our fur baby we lost in May. I completed an application and the very next morning I woke up to an email from Amanda. We were overwhelmed with joy that soon we would welcome another fur baby in our home. From the very first day dealing with Amanda was such an amazing experience for us. We were able to FaceTime to see him and she sent us weekly updates. They day he was brought home to us changed our lives, Milo has been an absolute blessing! He is a very loving, healthy puppy. I still keep in touch with Amanda with pictures and texts. She is outstanding at what she does and her dogs are amazing. I have referred a few people already for future pups!
