Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Draycot Meadows Australian Labradoodles located in Dracut, MA. We produce healthy, well socialized pups with outstanding temperaments. Extensive testing and selective pairing is the key.

Q. & A. with Jill

  • Why did you start breeding?

My sister bred Golden Retrievers many years ago, piquing my interest. Working closely with her, I decided to branch out and breed Labrador Retrievers in the 90s. I am now working with two breeders as mentors as I renew my interest in this rewarding and sometimes difficult world!
  • What makes your program special?

I am committed to the health and temperament of this breed. Our breeders are tested for genetic conditions via Embark, PawPrint, PenHIP, and OFA. As an in-home breeder, we only produce one litter at a time to ensure each pup has the individual attention needed to become exceptional, well adjusted family pets.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include caramel, red, gold, apricot, and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
