Q. & A. with Alicia
Why did you start breeding?
We decided to start a breeding program when we brought home our first German Shepherd. Our trainer was so knowledgeable and helpful in showing us the potential of this great breed. We decided that we wanted to participate in passing on only high quality Shepherds, and to be a program with high integrity and standards.
What makes your program special?
Our program is called drei Stränge (dry strain-guh). We have based our business on Ecclesiastes 4:12. We believe that with God at the center of all we do, we will do it well and honor Him!
Our dogs are our pets first. We love them dearly and their wellbeing is of the utmost importance to us. We take pride in their training, their discipline, work ethic, home environment, and beauty.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Ydanja, mom
German Shepherd
About Ydanja
Ydanja is just stunning. She comes from a top kennel in Germany, and has an extensive bloodline of accomplished ancestors. Ydanja is very loyal, sweet, playful, obedient, fast, alert and tolerant. Her favorite thing is to chase her ball, which is always a great reward after a training session. She is calm with people, and playful with her dog pals. Ydanja loves field trips and not much phases her when she is out and about. She is trustworthy and we are so pleased to have her in our home.
Ferguson, mom
German Shepherd
About Ferguson
The top three words to describe Ferguson are: loving, loyal, and comical.
She has a deep love for all people. Ferguson attracts people to her with her kind and loving demeanor. She is absolutely loyal to her owners and loves to be near them.
In addition to her sweet personality, Ferguson is downright funny. She loves to play, get attention, and snuggle.
Ferguson’s most favorite activity is exploring. She loves nose work and discovering new things all around her. She loves field trips (particularly to the ice cream shop!) and going on new adventures. She is trustworthy and reliable, she is not startled by her surroundings, new things, or other dogs.
She has been referred to as “Perfect” since she was a puppy, and she lives up to being very close to the perfect dog.
