Raised by Ashley D.
Certified Breeder of Australian Shepherds, Miniature American Shepherds, Miniature Australian Shepherds, Toy Australian Shepherds, and American Corgis
I'm the breeder behind Dusty Spring Australian Shepherds, LLC located in Pennsylvania. Our dogs are health tested and health certified to produce quality puppies. They live in our home and are a part of our family. Puppies are also raised in our home so they have constant social interaction and they become accustomed to daily activities.
About Ashley
I'm Ashley and I've been a dog enthusiast since I could remember. I've always owned pets and I also spent a few years with a kennel, helping with whelping and preparing puppies for new homes. I met my first Aussie at a previous job and absolutely fell in love with their temperament and sweet personality. I love the fact that I get to share my love for the breed with new owners!
What makes Ashley’s program special
I am a small breeding operation. My dogs are raised in our home and the pups are socialized from the day they are born. I take great care to ensure the health (genetic and physical) are up to standards for both our adult dogs and the puppies. Not to mention they are a bit spoiled! We typically raise 3-4 litters each year.

When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $1,500 - $3,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $550.
“Puppy prices are dependent on pedigree, gender, color and full registration (breeding/show contract), details will be given. Full registration is given on a discretionary basis and will be determined when a puppy is no younger than 4 weeks old. This will be a private agreement made between the buyer and seller, so please inquire about further details. Tails are docked, unless buyer requests a full tail by the time the puppy is 3 days old. Payment for that puppy must be made in FULL prior to the puppies age of 3 days. Deposit is a non-refundable reservation and/or holding fee in good faith that the buyer is fully committed to buying a puppy from our program. It is also transferrable to any litter and comes off the final cost of the puppy.”
Ashley may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Ashley offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Ashley directly.
At the beginning stages of their lives, the pups are introduced to Early Neurological Stimulation. As they age, our pups are handled daily by members of our family (dogs included). We interact with them by playing and teaching basic commands. They are also at the beginning stages of potty and crate training before they leave for their new homes. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, Car rides, Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Daily handling, Socialized with other dogs, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Various sounds, Potty training, crate training, Socialized with Children, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Sound Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Grooming Desensitization, Touch Desensitization, Early Neurological Stimulation, Toys, e.g. Ball, and Chew, e.g. Bone.
Our pups receive a health certificate by 8 weeks of age from our veterinarian. They are also dewormed, microchipped and given vaccines on an age-appropriate schedule.
We send our puppies home with Registration, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Puppy starter kit, Microchip, Initial potty training, Toys, Basic obedience & manners, Vet records, Food & treats, Puppy Starter Kit, Breed Club Registration, Certificate of Health, Food Starter Bag, Microchip, and Vaccinations.
