I'm the breeder behind Eagles Landing Miniature American Shepherds located in Port Chester, NY. My dogs are bred first and foremost for temperament, health, physical soundness & type. They are tested for genetic diseases that are unique to this breed through PawPrint genetics. I work hard to make sure that you get the right puppy for your family & lifestyle.
About Gale
I am a very small breeder of Miniature American Shepherds who are raised inside my home with family and other pack members. My goal is not only to breed healthy, physically correct and sound dogs that are tested and clear from genetic diseases that affect this breed, but to also breed loving family dogs. I am an AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. breeder.
What makes Gale’s program special
I use a modified version of "Puppy Culture" methodology in raising my pups from the day they are born. Socialization is a top priority so that each pup will adjust easily to their forever family, surroundings and new situations. Miniature American Shepherds are active dogs that need to be an intricate part of the family, so they are best suited for families that like to give them plenty to do.
Gale is a member of 2 clubs

Gale has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $2,200.
“Price is for pet/companion dog sold on a spay/neuter contract. I do not base my price on coat or eye color. They are all of equal quality, color is an individual's preference. My black or red tris are just as valuable as my merle pups. I am not accepting deposits at this time.”
Gale may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Gale offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Gale directly.
We use a modified form of Puppy Culture to raise our puppies and make sure they are ready for their new homes. Puppy Culture helps our puppies get used to lots of different sights, sounds, and people. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Surface & tactile stimulation, Various sounds, Touch Desensitization, Household Desensitization, Socialized with Children, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Sound Stimulation, Toys, e.g. Ball, Early Neurological Stimulation, Chew, e.g. Bone, and Structures, e.g. Climbing.
We register all results with the OFA and conduct pawprint DNA testing. Puppies are examined by my veterinarian and are vaccinated and microchipped before being taken home.
We send our puppies home with Puppy starter kit, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Microchip, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Puppy Slip Leash, Veteranarian Health Report, Bowl, Microchipped , AKC Registration, Spay/Neuter Contract, 3-4 Generation Pedigree, Vaccinations, Food Starter Bag, and Toy with Littermates' Scent.
Gale offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
“I am not shipping puppies at this time, but you are more than welcome to pick up your pup at my home.”
