I'm the breeder behind Ebb Tide Kennels and Stables located in Holley, NC. We offer carefully bred Newfoundlands who are home raised and loved. Our dogs are bred for health and longevity. They are very socialized and vet checked. We personality test our puppies to match the right home with the right puppy. It is very important to us that each puppy gets placed in the perfect, loving home.

I've been breeding and showing dogs in obedience, rally obedience, agility, draft work, and water rescue for a long time. I love sharing my life with my dogs.

I health check all of the dogs I breed. I also feed my dogs an all natural diet which makes for healthier adults and puppies. I prioritizing matching each puppy with the right home.

Puppy prices range from $3,000 - $3,500 and include a refundable deposit of $500.
“If there is not a puppy for you in this litter, the deposit can be applied to a future litter.”

Why Joan started breeding
I wanted to breed Landseer Newfoundlands for pet and working ability. I fell in love with the process and the rest is history.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cystinuria Type 1A, Newfoundland Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
