About Katie
Growing up in a household that practiced the Art of Falconry, English Setters were the perfect match in the sport. In my adult years, animals quickly became my life while managing a veterinary hospital that specializes in canine reproduction and exotics -- I have been surrounded by animals of all types!
What makes Katie’s program special
Each of the puppies I produce is part of my family, and their new homes are now extended family. I am always here for my clients and make sure my dogs are genetically and temperamentally fit and sound.
Katie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $1,600 - $2,400 and include a deposit of $600.
“This includes registration, full veterinary exam, first vaccines, deworming, heartworm prevention, a microchip, go-home packets, and lifetime support. The deposit guarantees you a pup out of a chosen litter and is only refundable if the litter becomes unavailable, or the sex you chose is not available.”
Katie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Katie offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Katie directly.
Puppies are raised in my living room and exposed to different things and situations at appropriate mental milestones. Once the pups are weaned, I encourage new owners to visit multiple times to get to know their new addition and give them opportunities to get questions answered as they arrise. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Various sounds, Socialized in new places, Early Socialization, Puppy Culture, Noise Desensitized, Socialized with People, Car Rides, Potty Training, Crate Training, Scent Introduction, and Bird Introduction.
All puppies go home with full veterinary health checks, first vaccines, preventatives, care sheets, support items, starter food, and a follow-up scheduled a few days later to check-in.
We send our puppies home with Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents, Food Starter Bag, Breed Club Registration, Vaccinations, Blanket with Littermates Scent, and Microchip.
Katie offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Work with a trusted transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.
