I'm the breeder behind Euzkalzale Great Pyrenees located in Hesperia, CA. I am a small Great Pyrenees breeder producing only a few pups yearly. My desire is to breed healthy dogs in all respects. I am interested in producing healthy, long-lived, good structured, and sound, temperament dogs from the beginning. Pyrs are gentle with children and guardians of livestock.

Terry has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $2,500 and include a refundable deposit of $500.
“The price includes a purchase agreement, AKC registration, and first shot with a vet check. Puppies are micro-chipped at around 5 weeks. Deposit is refundable for any reason. It holds a place for choosing from the pups available. I require a list of the top 5 things you're looking for in a dog to help me evaluate the best pups for you to choose from.”
Terry may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Terry offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Terry directly.
They are trained to start going outside and return to x-pen with treats. We do grooming nails and brushing, bathing, and all the noise around that. They are socialized with dog friends at 7 weeks. We do temperament testing for livestock guardians at 5, 6, and 7 weeks. They stay with their mother until they leave so she can train them as well. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Various sounds, Car rides, Surface & tactile stimulation, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Grooming Desensitization, and Outdoors, e.g. rain.
Puppies are wormed at the 6th and 9th week. They have their shots and vet check at 6 weeks and again at 9 weeks if they are still here.
We send our puppies home with Puppy starter kit, Registration, Vet records, Microchip, and Toy with Littermates' Scent.
Terry offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
“Families can come to my home or on occasion I will ship out of state depending on the guidelines in place.”
Why Terry started breeding
I bought a pair of Basset Hounds and bred them when I was first married in 1968 -1974. A friend bought a Kuvacz and got me into showing. I bought my first Pyr in 1971 for my 21st birthday.
