I'm the breeder behind Foothill Aussies located in Cool, CA. We breed for a purpose. Each dog has a goal for each line. Therapy/service, lower energy for suburb's, working line for farms.
About Valerie
I'm a foster mom for children and a retired teacher. I got my desire for this breed when one of my ptsd kids had an Aussie trained as a therapy/service dog. Now it is a goal to produce a good line that can be widely used for therapy work with kids.
What makes Valerie’s program special
Our homes and goals. I hand deliver every puppy and make sure every dog has a home and family, never just a breeding dog.

Valerie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $2,850 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“Our main goal is to produce a dog with wonderful temperaments, that will best be suited for service and therapy work. Price is for our over all program and not charged based of sex or color. Nonrefundable but can be moved to future litters.”
Valerie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Valerie offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Valerie directly.
We have a house for our foster child (that's a lot of attention). We take them for short car rides picking up kids. They also get to play with other dogs and around horse, chickens and other farm animals. They have 3 or 4 baths with full grooming's by the time they leave. They spend time inside outside and even are found from time to time in bed with the teens. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Various sounds, Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Crate Training, Service Dog Training, Potty Training, Sit Command, Basic manners, Socialized with Children, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Household Desensitization, Grooming Desensitization, Toys, e.g. Ball, Chew, e.g. Bone, Strangers, Noises , and Car Rides.
