Raised by Elizabeth K.
Certified Breeder of Australian Cattle Dogs and Miniature Australian Shepherds
I'm the breeder behind Fun Size Heelers located in Laurinburg, NC. We were farmers in Illinois and we moved to Norh Carolina to retire. God has some different plans for us. Last October my husband had a stroke. I'm unsure what our future is but I do need to downsize my program. This is heartbreaking for me. I love providing quality puppies for you all.
About Elizabeth
I grew up in the Midwest and am an animal lover to say the least. I would have a much bigger assortment of animals, but my husband keeps me in check. I was introduced to my first heeler a few years ago and then my husband surprised me with Annie for my birthday. After that, well things have lined up and here we are. If you would like to know our story, please ask. It's too much to write here. :)
What makes Elizabeth’s program special
I like to think we are special, because these babies are our family. I call them all my four-legged children. Each one has a unique personality, but they all are loyal. It is my hope that others will experience the same joy and love that we have had with them.

Elizabeth has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $700 - $1,500 and include a deposit of $100.
“These puppies will be wormed diligently until they go home, they'll have their first vaccine, health check and microchip done by our local veterinarian. If you have questions, please ask. :). A $100 deposit is required. If it doesn't work out or you change your mind about the puppy you have a deposit on, your deposit can be applied to a future puppy. Otherwise it is non-refundable.”
Elizabeth may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Elizabeth offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Elizabeth directly.
I do lots of hands on with the puppies. I let them explore outdoors and expose them to cats, other dogs, and horses. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Potty Training, Various sounds, Surface & tactile stimulation, Socialized with other animals, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Car rides, Exposure to livestock, the starting of house breaking, Potty opportunities on various surfaces, Car Rides, Outdoors (when Weather permits), Toys, e.g. Ball, Touch Desensitization, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Other Animals, and Socialized with Cats.
All puppies will have their first vaccine, health check, and are microchipped by our local veterinarian and are wormed diligently until they go to their furever homes. Parents are DNA Embarked and I check them for diseases through Gensol. Documentation is included in your puppy folders.
We send our puppies home with Puppy starter kit, Toys, Initial potty training, Vet records, Food & treats, Microchip, and Registration.
Elizabeth offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Work with a trusted transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at a meeting point close to home.

About Dani
Dani has been raised with us from a tiny pup and she is such a sweet girl. My husband would snuggle her on his chest when she was teeny tiny. To this day, she'll cuddle with you on the couch or chair. One special thing about my Dani girl, is when she is cuddling you, or at random times, she will moan like an old lady. To me it is endearing!
