Our Nutcracker Litter is 7 weeks old. Yesterday, we gave them their first face trim, and they were all so good! Today, we will visit the vet for our 1st shots and puppy well checks!
Our puppies are raised in our home, so they get to experience all the hustle and bustle one might expect. They are given a variety of different toys to enhance their learning. The pups are also introduced to our family pets. We begin potty training when the pups are 4 weeks old using a pellet box. This has been beneficial in getting the puppies used to eliminating in a designated area. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Socialized with other animals, Scent introduction, Daily handling, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, Noise desensitization, Human Interactions , Car Training , Basic manners, Name recognition , "No" Biting or Chewing, Crate Training, and Potty Training.
All puppies are checked by our veterinarian at 7 weeks old. He administers their vaccines, and puppies come home utd on shots and wormings.
We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Toys, Registration, Microchip, Vet records, Food & treats, and Puppy starter kit.
Why Kellie started breeding
I have always admired the beauty of a cocker spaniel. We adopted our first cocker when my youngest son was just a baby. We fell in love with the breed! I wanted to try raising a litter after we got our second cocker. Three years later we had our first litter. I have been breeding since 2016, and I am still learning new things and techniques to improve our program.
