I'm the breeder behind Gempoms located in Fort Collins, CO. We offer OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) and genetically tested healthy AKC Pomeranians raised in our show home. We are involved in the show world and are committed to only breeding dogs that meet the strict guidelines for breed standard. These dogs are sold as PETS only. We do not allowing breeding.

We are a proud mother-daughter duo collectively running our breeding program. We show our dogs that live in our homes with us! Our Poms are a huge part of our lives, and we enjoy spending time with them; whether that be competing in the show ring together or just cuddling up at night! We are passionate about what we do and what we are trying to achieve as breeders. We look forward to connecting with you!
What makes Misty’s program special
Our program is unique because all of our dogs are hand-raised, socialized, and overly-loved by us! We prioritize having our breeding dogs OFA and genetically tested prior to breeding to ensure we are producing quality puppies. Getting a puppy from Misty
Misty has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $3,800 - $4,200 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“Deposit it $500 to hold a puppy. It is $0 to inquire and ask any questions about puppies and if they would be a good fit. It is rare we have puppies under $4000.”
Contract and health guarantee
Misty may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Misty offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Misty directly.
What's included
Enrichment and socialization
We do our best to begin training our puppies to prepare them for success in their new homes. Including sound, surface and environment exposure for confident puppies. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Various sounds, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Basic Manners, Initial House Training, Various Surfaces, Sound Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Various People, and Socialized with Adult Dogs.
Puppy health practices
Puppies are dewormed, vaccinated, and receive a veterinary exam prior to going to their forever homes.
Extras
We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Registration, Microchip, Vet records, Toys, and Food & treats.
Bringing your puppy home
Misty offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
Pick up your puppy in Fort Collins, CO or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Get your puppy dropped off to you
Work with a trusted transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at a meeting point close to home.

Gempoms reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Pomeranians.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
