I'm the breeder behind Glacier Cardigan Welsh Corgis located in Medford, OR. Our dogs are bred for soundness and consistency physically and mentally. We prioritize health and structure so that your new puppy can be a part of your family for as long as possible. We want the very best for every puppy, and we truly believe that starts well before the whelping box.
About Maleah
I grew up on a cattle ranch in southern Oregon. I got my first Cardigan, a Coedwig boy, in college. I was looking for a working dog that could help me on the farm when I went home, but be able to live with me in an apartment at school. Ever since, Cardigans have become a second passion, next to animal husbandry and reproduction. I am also an AI technician for cattle.
What makes Maleah’s program special
Our focus is to breed dogs who are of the body and mind to be able to perform their historical function. This means preserving the herding ability of these incredible dogs. We also believe the hardest job a dog could have is being a pet. We want to send out puppies who will be long-lived, happy, healthy members of your family.

Maleah has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $2,200.
“We do not take a deposit until your puppy is matched to you at 7-8 weeks old. At that time, we will ask for a half down deposit as confirmation that you would like to move forward with your selected puppy. This is counted into the final purchase price, which is due at the time of pick-up.”
Maleah may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Maleah offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Maleah directly.
Puppies are rigorously socialized. We pride ourselves on sending stable puppies with strong foundations to their new homes. They will have met many new people, ridden in cars, began crate training, began to learn some basic commands (like “sit” and “down”), and be used to having their mouths, ears, and feet handled for routine care. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Potty Training, "No" Biting or Chewing, Leash Walking, Crate Training, Sit Command, Puppy Culture , Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Children, Socialized with Other Animals, Socialized with Elderly, Sound Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Grooming Desensitization, Touch Desensitization, Structures, e.g. Climbing, Early Neurological Stimulation, Toys, e.g. Ball, Chew, e.g. Bone, Stores, Strangers, Noises , Various Surfaces , Fireworks , Outdoors, e.g. rain, Puppy Culture , and Temperament imprinting Evaluation .
Puppies will receive a microchip and their first set the DAPP vaccine, at 8 weeks of age. They will be regularly dewormed before heading to their new homes at 10 weeks.
We send our puppies home with first dose of heartgard and nexgard, AKC Registration, Microchip, Certificate of Health, Vaccinations, and Volhard Personality Test.
Maleah offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
“We do not ship puppies. However, we are more than happy to meet you at our local airport, or help set up pick-up for your puppy.”
Why Maleah started breeding
Animal breeding has always been a passion of mine. I have a passion for genetics and reproduction. It started with show chickens and cattle in high school and then pigs in college. Ultimately, I found that my true joy was bringing my love of pedigree analysis and genetics, and my lifelong love for dogs together. It is a match made in heaven for me.
Maleah has been a member of Good Dog for over 4 years
Maleah was screened for responsible practices and has been a member since 2020.

About Sophie
Sophie is the queen of the castle here at Glacier. She was retired 1 pt shy of her CH title due to a back injury. She is Secret's mother and the foundation of my program. She has been spayed and is enjoying being our favorite couch queen and walking buddy. Sophie is in the process of becoming a certified therapy dog so she can visit children who need her loving snuggles.
