I'm the breeder behind Harris' Anatolian Livestock Guardian Dogs located in Liberty, NC. The best livestock guard dog! These pups will grow up to be very large dogs. As livestock guard dogs, they need a job to do with lots of room to roam/patrol. They need a sturdy fence and livestock guard dogs do better in pairs as they work together. Please research the history of this amazing breed.

About Nicole
Our family finally made our dream come true! We bought the land and built the home! We've slowly been working on adding animals and fencing. Our Anatolians started off with us in the home before slowly transitioning to being with the goat herd full time.

We LOVE our dogs! Yes, they are working dogs but they are part of our family and they truly are so sweet. We care about their wellbeing and experiencing this entire process has been a gift from them. We'll always have their best interest at heart.

Getting a puppy from Nicole
Nicole has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $900 and include a refundable deposit of $150.
“Price includes full AKC registration, first round of vaccinations and deworming. This also includes our commitment for socialization to different types of livestock, cats, other "pet" dogs, kids, etc. You can reserve a pup with a $150 deposit. The deposit will count towards the total cost at time of pick up. The deposit is refundable for a certain, agreed apon timeframe. If pup is not picked up on the agreed upon date, the deposit will be forfeited.”

Nicole may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included
Enrichment and socialization
Our pups are spending time in our home with "pet" dogs and cats and out in the field with goats and chickens. They will be exposed to all types of smells, sounds and people as well. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Various sounds, Socialized with other dogs, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other animals, Daily handling, and Socialized with children.
Puppy health practices
All pups are vaccinated, dewormed and will visit our Vet for a health checkup before going home.
Extras
We send our puppies home with Puppy starter kit, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, and Vet records.
Bringing your puppy home
Nicole offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
Pick up your puppy in Liberty, NC or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

Why Nicole started breeding
That's part of homesteading, right!? We really wanted our kids to experience farm life so they can have a true appreciation and understanding of where food comes from and what works goes into that. Livestock guard dogs play a vital, working role in protecting our food and livestock. It's been so amazing for our kids to experience the miracle of life.
