About Madeline
Purchased my first Old English Sheepdog in 1974 and second in 1976. I did not get into breeding until 1988. Health and structure are my priorities of breeding. I have been showing my dogs and puppies since 1990, having Best In Show and Specialty winners plus two Top Twenty winners of our breed!
What makes Madeline’s program special
My dogs and their pedigrees are known worldwide. Adhering to the national club standard for all recommended health screening tests is paramount to my dogs’ wellbeing as well as my personal integrity. I have been performing routine health checks on all of my breeding stock since 1994 and implement all of the genetic testing that has become available. In addition, I use Optimal Selection on each mother and father before breeding. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is my way to positively contribute to the line and give back to the breed and the humans who love them. I want nothing more than to see each of my dogs and puppies shine.
