Q. & A. with Margaret
Why did you start breeding?
My first PWD introduced me to Obedience. We won HIT at the National Specialty our first time in the ring. Years later I wanted to try the conformation ring & was able to purchase a very nice female puppy from a good breeder that trusted me with a full registration. After completing an AKC Champion & CDX Obedience title I excepted mentoring to health test, study pedigrees & breed. Four generations later I produced the first Female platinum grand champion.
What makes your program special?
My pups are raised in my home & are given many experiences to help them easily adjust to their new homes. My support for their new owners is there for the life of their dog. For dogs placed locally, I offer grooming and boarding services.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Steamy, mom
Portuguese Water Dog
About Steamy
Steamy is a sweet, girl. I bit more of a lay back temperament than her mother, Sizzle. She has deep brown eyes and a very dense curly coat. I feel she is one of my prettiest girls, but a slight underbite made me decide that I would not owner handle her in the conformation show ring.
Uploaded health tests
DNA Profile, Congenital Macrothrombocytopenia, +4 more.
Sizzle, mom
Portuguese Water Dog
About Sizzle
Sizzle is a female Portuguese Water Dog about 9 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Margaret decided to make her part of their program. Margaret has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
