I'm the breeder behind Highland German Shepherds located in Tooele, UT. Our dogs are out of VA1 award winning legends including Vegas du Haut Mansard, Willy Vom Kuckucksland, and more. VA 1 is the most sought after GSD title and only awarded to one dog in the world per year! We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies.
James has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $1,500 - $2,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“Price includes AKC registration with full breeding rights, initial vaccinations, deworming and veterinarian health exam. Deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to another available pup in the breeding program.”
James may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If James offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to James directly.
Our puppies are raised inside the home with both mom and dad on-site, as well as a small and medium sized dog. Experience a lot of enrichment handling, noises, and exposure to different experiences. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, and Various sounds.
All puppies are vaccinated, dewormed and taken to a vet for a general health check before going home.
We send our puppies home with Puppy starter kit, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Registration, and Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent.
James offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

About Murphy
Murphy is a professionally trained service dog from world champion VA1 bloodlines and a dear family pet who loves to sleep on the bed with us. He is of superior intelligence, thoughtful, and kind to other animals and confident with strangers. He loves to work and please. He is generally calm but has a fun loving moderate prey drive as well. Some of his previous pups have also gone on to be professionally trained service dogs.

About Kayleigh
Kayleigh is a wonderful and attentive mom to her pups. She is eager to please, but often takes a backseat to our male service dog who gets all the good jobs. She gets along well with other animals and loves to sleep in the bedroom with us. This is her second litter with Murphy and previous pups have also gone on to be trained service dogs. Some of her pups have quite plushy coats almost leaning towards long hair. She is a kind loving momma so happy to greet us when we come home.
