I'm the breeder behind Kazuri Beagles and Cavaliers located in Woodinville, WA. We are lucky enough to have a small, hobby kennel located approximately 15 miles north of Seattle in Washington. Our dogs are primarily our pets, spending their days relaxing on the couch. They are part of our family, and any puppies are raised in the same way, in our home. Our goal is to produce quality dogs that not only look beautiful, and are healthy, but also have the temperament that will make them a life-long member of your family.
About Sarah
I am originally from NZ. We moved to the US 12 years ago. I am married to the love of my life and we have two wonderful children. We are lucky enough to live in the beautiful PNW with our pack of Beagles and Cavaliers.

We do ENS on our pups. We give them age-appropriate toys such as tunnels, teeter-totters, mini stairs & slide so they experience different sounds/textures and movement while they walk and play. We have our children and friends to handle them gently from birth. We play sounds like thunder and fire engines while they sleep to desensitize them. We put balloons around their pen to let them see them and not be afraid of them. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with Children, Socialized with Other Animals, Household Desensitization, Grooming Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Early Neurological Stimulation, Toys, e.g. Ball, Chew, e.g. Bone, and Outdoors, e.g. rain.
All of my puppies go home with multiple de-wormings complete, their first vaccine (i follow Dr. Jean Dodd’s protocol), a microchip (AKC reunite), vet well check visit. Cavalier puppies also go home with a cardiologist heart check and if I can, an ophthalmologist eye check. Ophthalmologists are sometimes too booked to see the pups before they leave.
We send our puppies home with Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , information about the breed, new toy, Blanket with Littermates Scent, Food Starter Bag, and Certificate of Health.
Sarah offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.

Why Sarah started breeding
When my husband and I felt that we were ready for our first Beagle, we contacted a local breeder. She didn’t have any puppies, but she had a retired show dog. That was our introduction to the show world. He ended up being neutered and I started again with a female but it ignited something in me. I found great mentors who gave me books about the structure and taught me about health.
