I'm the breeder behind Kendra’s Prissy Toy Poodles located in Detroit, MI. Our Toy Poodles are hand-raised in our family home until they are ready to join yours. They are bred with love, care, and intention at every step. Our dogs are part of our family, and we give that same love to each puppy as we prepare them to join their forever homes. It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others!

    Hello my name is Kendra I’m a small hobby breeder from Detroit, MI where I resides with my soon to be husband our 3 children and two dogs. I work full time as a quality inspect and soonsband is a full time work from home software developer. We met and fell in love almost 19 yrs ago and pretty much been inseparable every since then. Our oldest daughter is 13 the second oldest son number 1 is 11 and baby boy is 1. We also have a 6 year old German Shepherd whom I’ve had since she was 10 wks old and Missy is our now 2 yr old toy poodle. We are a house full of animal lovers. We enjoy quality family time watching movies, playing with the dogs and exploring our beautiful city.

Puppy prices range from $1,800 - $2,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $300.

What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Our puppies are well adjusted to a home environment socialized with children other dogs and follow an ENS( Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction) curriculum starting at 3 days old. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Puppy Culture , Toys, e.g. Ball, Crate Training , Noises , Touch Desensitization, Early Neurological Stimulation, Grooming Desensitization, Household Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Children, Noise Desensitization, grooming , Recall training, We begin potty training along with crate training & believe the two go hand in hand., Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) , Human Interactions, Litter Box Trained, and Crate Training.

Puppy health practices

All puppies are vaccinated, dewormed, dew claws removed, fecal tests and tails docked by a licensed veterinarian with health certificates given before leaving for their new forever homes.

We send our puppies home with Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents, Vaccinations, Puppy Starter Kit, Microchip, Food Starter Bag, Certificate of Health, and AKC Registration.

Pick up your puppy in Detroit, MI or nearby

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

Get your puppy dropped off to you

We’ll meet at a mutually convenient halfway point to drop off your puppy. Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate the details for your pick-up day together.
