I'm the breeder behind Kharisma Mastiffs located in Lake Villa, IL. We enjoy showing our dogs, and they are our companions in every adventure. We are invested in Mastiffs and in helping the breed thrive. We do all that we can to give our puppies the best lives, including proper health care, thorough socialization, and finding them each wonderful, loving homes.

Puppy prices range from $3,000 - $4,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

Enrichment and socialization

Certified Good Dog Breeders put a lot of care into raising well-rounded puppies, often focusing on early training and socialization with children and other animals. Puppy health practices

Puppies are vaccinated 1x and wormed 3x before leaving at 8 weeks old.

  • Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cystinuria Urine Test (PennGen)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Multifocal Retinopathy 1 (CMR1), PRA Dominant (DPRA), Mastiff Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Cystinuria Type 3, English Mastiff Type Risk Factor

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
