I'm the breeder behind Kokuryuu Shibas located in Green Bay, WI. When we plan a litter, any puppies that are not held back to grow out for the show ring will be available to loving homes. We try to ensure that we find a proper fit for the family and the dog. The pet homes must adhere to strict spay and neuter contracts.

When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

The deposit that is paid will be deducted from the total cost of the puppy. Deposit amount is $500 and is non-refundable.”
Pam & Leah may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. We try to get puppies used to the things they will encounter in everyday life. They are exposed to baths, nail trims, a variety of noises, new surfaces, etc. from the time they are born until they leave our home. We require our new puppy homes to take at least two 4-6 week sessions of positive training classes as soon as possible with their new puppy to help with bonding and safe socialization. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Surface & tactile stimulation, Various sounds, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Car rides, Socialized with other dogs, Introduced to grooming, obstacles , Various Surfaces , Noises , Structures, e.g. Climbing, Toys, e.g. Ball, Household Desensitization, Grooming Desensitization, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Different Textures, Treat training , daily individual time, We introduce collar and leash training, Puppy temperament evaluation , Initial House Training, Clicker Training, Potty Training, Noise Desensitization, Bathing, and Human Interactions .
Puppies will have had their first vet health examination with a distemper combo vaccine and a microchip prior to leaving our home. We also do a precautionary deworming with panacur.
We send our puppies home with Puppy starter kit, Registration, Food & treats, Initial potty training, Toys, Vet records, Microchip, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, clicker to start training with, Small bag of the food the puppy has been eating, Puppy Culture excercise booklet, Nylabone chew, Puppy Leash, Vaccinations, Toy with Littermates' Scent, Puppy Collar, Microchip, and Blanket with Mom's Scent.

“We need to meet potential puppy people in person. They need to either drive to us or we will, occassionally, when able to, meet them partway to cut down on their travel time.”
