I'm the breeder behind Lava Rock Adventures located in Blackfoot, ID. I am a small hobby breeder with the goal of breeding healthy, happy dogs to better the breed. I do all that I can to raise the best puppies possible - a clean environment, quality food, and lots of toys and socialization. I focus on temperament, soundness, and beauty. My dogs are family members first and foremost. I am passionate about the work I do and truly love my dogs.

My primary focus is to produce dogs with solid temperaments, great health, and sound moderate structure. My dogs work hard, play hard, love hard, and are part of the family. I prepare all of our pups to excel in life.

That includes always having responsible practices for breeding, training, and rehoming my puppies. I work with passion, heart, and integrity, and I truly want what's best for the Golden Retriever line.
Jill has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $3,000 - $6,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

I do everything I can to socialize my puppies. I want them to be easily trainable and have a smooth transition to their new home. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Car Rides, gun shots, Human contact from birth, and on daily basis, Dog Door Training, And showed lots of love, Adult and children socializing , bite inhibition, Noises, exposure to agility tunnel, wobble board and other novel items, positive experiences in all situations, Children and other pets, Crate Training , Early stages of crate training, Outdoors (when Weather permits), Texture stimulation, crate training, Puppy Culture , Outdoors, e.g. rain, Noise desensitized , Fireworks , Various Surfaces , Noises , Structures, e.g. Climbing, Scents, Chew, e.g. Bone, Toys, e.g. Ball, Touch Desensitization, Early Neurological Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Elderly, Socialized with Other Animals, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Cats, Socialized with Children, and Puppy Culture.
I prioritize the health and well-being of each one of my puppies, and I follow all appropriate puppy health protocols.

My love for Golden Retrievers inspired me to share this amazing breed with the world in a responsible way. It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others.
