I'm the breeder behind Lone Star King Shepherds located in Wharton, TX. We work hard to produce healthy, well-rounded King Shepherd puppies that will make others as happy as our dogs have made us! In order to start our puppies off on the right paw, we begin training and socializing at a young age so they are set up for success in their new homes. We prioritize the health and well-being of each one of our puppies and follow all appropriate puppy health protocols.
Q. & A. with Sheila
Why did you start breeding?
We got into breeding upon semi-retirement, we have always had animals, horses, pigs, geese and of course dogs. We discovered the King Shepherd and decided that this lovable, intelligent, gentle giant was what we wanted to show the world.
What makes your program special?
We are breeders that actually care about our babies. We follow them and their families through adulthood and beyond. Our owners become family and friends. We mentor and give advice when we can and help find avenues for questions when we can't. The health and wellbeing of each and every pup is our utmost concern.

Our puppies are large size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
