Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Longhorn Cavaliers located in El Campo, TX. We focus on the proper development of all our puppies because we know that each one is unique and deserving of undivided love and attention. Each puppy is bred, raised, and loved indoors to ensure health, happiness, and harmony at the start of its life. At Longhorn, beauty is a given, but producing healthy, loving, and versatile Cavaliers is our true goal.

Q. & A. with Kendall

  • Why did you start breeding?

My husband and I had his and hers but no ours, we tried for years to have our own children but had many failed fertility treatments. My first cavalier was our baby, then we wanted more because she loved her daddy More 🤦🏼‍♀️ After having 7 cavaliers I finally became pregnant and think because I was truly happy in doing what our program does best.. build families. And I was surrounded by puppies. But I also always wanted to be a vet . I wanted to better the breed. So I dove head in and still change things frequently to better us.
  • What makes your program special?

We believe in health and socialization. Our enrichment pens and life stages are crucial. And by the end of 8 weeks we have a schedule and are well adapted to our crate and doggy door.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

It was a smooth transition. We needed more time before we were able to pick up our pup after purchasing and they were able to accommodate greatly. She sent pictures and gave us updates and we were fully engaged in every aspect of the process. Shortly after pickup I was able to follow up with questions and keep in contact with the breeder if I needed to. Overall a really good experience!
