I'm the breeder behind Lotsaspots Danes located in Berkeley Springs, WV. We offer top quality Great Danes from health tested parents, for pet and show. My dogs are bred for conformation, temperament, and longevity. I actively participate in AKC conformation shows. My program focuses on showing, however, I do have pet puppies available.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have been involved with Great Danes most of my life. I began showing, and then started my breeding program.
  • What makes your program special?

    I am a preservation breeder, I breed for the betterment of the breed. I strive to breed dogs that conform to the Great Dane standard. Each breeding is well thought out and much planning and research goes into each and every one.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include mantle merle, harlequin, and mantle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
