I'm the breeder behind Lottie's Mini Aussies located in Hillsville, VA. Our animals are a big part of our lives and we pride ourselves on raising healthy, happy, well-socialized Miniature Aussies! We focus on the proper development of all our puppies because we know that each one is unique and deserving of undivided love and attention. Our dogs are our family, and we give that same love to each puppy as we prepare them to join their forever homes. It is our goal to find loving homes for our puppies and provide families and individuals with the Miniature Australian Shepherd of their dreams!
Q. & A. with Lauren
Why did you start breeding?
I live on a 110 acre beef cattle farm, my parents have raised dogs for almost 28 years and I thought it would be perfect for me. The Mini Aussies have excelled our expectations for working, brains, agility and all around great family dog.
What makes your program special?
250 genetic testings have been done on my adult mini aussies and puppies will never be affected for any. At 2 days old the puppies are taken to the vet to have their tails and declaws removed, puppies will then go back to the vet at 6 weeks of age for a complete check up, vecile test and up to date vaccines. Puppies are raised inside the house with me and my family.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
