I'm the breeder behind Loucan’s Chihuahuas located in Texas. We are very experienced with Chihuahuas and are careful to breed and raise our pups with only the best policies. The quality of our puppies reflects the conscious decisions we make throughout every part of the breeding process. We are not a kennel, we raise our babies underfoot in our home. Our puppies include black, chocolate, cream, silver, blue merle, chocolate and tan, fawn and white, blue and white, blue and tan, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Candace
Candace has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $2,000 - $4,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $850.
“All deposits go towards price of puppy & deposit is 30% of puppy's price. Balance is due by 8 wks so delivery arrangements can be properly made by the time puppy is 10 wks.”
Contract & health guarantee
Candace may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
