Q. & A. with Kimberly
Why did you start breeding?
I have been involved with Toy Fox Terriers for decades, and I love this breed dearly. I started breeding them about 10 years ago, and I recently added Teddy Roosevelt Terriers to my program as well. I love these dogs and what I do!
What makes your program special?
I am an experienced breeder, and I take my role seriously. I keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, temperament, pedigree, and complementary traits, so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Toy Fox Terrier puppies include white and tan and white black and tan. Teddy Roosevelt Terrier puppies include white and blue, white and black, blue fawn and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Yaddle, mom
Teddy Roosevelt Terrier
About Yaddle
Yaddle is one of the sweetest and most loving terriers that I have ever had the pleasure to own. She wasn't much of a success as a show dog, simply because she had a tendency to throw her head back when she was stacked on the table (stargazing), which threw off the judges' ability to evaluate her. However, she's got very correct body type and is very strong and sturdy. Yaddle's public Embark profile is available on request.
Steele, dad
Teddy Roosevelt Terrier
About Steele
Steele is a fun-loving dog with a lot of energy. Right now, he is in agility training classes, with an eye on showing in "for exhibition only" classes next year. Steele has roots in Texas, through Jean Moreau's "Acadia" kennel, many dogs of which Donnie Holley (Louisiana) purchased when Acadia closed. Steele is somewhat small for his breed but is very well built and muscular. His public Embark profile is available on request.
Although they aren't visible in the photographs, Steele's tan markings are brindled. We expect at least a few of his puppies to have light brindle markings, as well.
Pip, dad
Teddy Roosevelt Terrier
About Pip
Pip is a male Teddy Roosevelt Terrier about 8 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Kimberly decided to make him part of their program. Kimberly has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
Diva, mom
Teddy Roosevelt Terrier
About Diva
Diva is a lovely black tricolor Teddy with a super-sweet personality. She's a wonderful mom, very attentive to her babies and reluctant to wean them when it's time. I'm looking forward to her post-puppy/show career, where she can relax and simply be a farm dog--and maybe get a Rally title, too. Diva has been tested for genetic health using Embark DNA for Breeders. Her public profile can be found here: http://embk.me/diva78?utm_campaign=cns_ref_dog_pub_profile&utm_medium=other&utm_source=embark
Penni, mom
Toy Fox Terrier
About Penni
Penni is a typey Toy Fox Terrier with a lot of prey drive--excellent for a Toy Fox Terrier. She is exceedingly smart and loving. Some of the pictures listed here are from Westminster 2017, when she placed with an Award of Merit.
