Q. & A. with Michelle
Why did you start breeding?
I began breeding cocker spaniels in the 80's. Then in 1995 I fell in love with a long haired red piebald dachshund. I bred them till my love passed away. It took me 12 years to fall in love again. Then in 2016 I began with a new love, St. Bernards. I started with one and we now have 5 females 1 male and 1 other male we use as stud. We are planning to add more once we get more land.
What makes your program special?
All my dogs are part of my family, they sleep in the bed. They are mainly inside dogs. We take them to a private groomer regularly, and we have a veterinarian on retainer (lol). Luna goes with me to work. We socialize our pups, expose them to different sounds, people and animals. We begin to potty train the pups and introduce them to the collar and lease.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

We were very fortunate to have found Michelle at Love St Bernards Farm. She made sure our adoption went smoothly and we received a healthy beautiful puppy, Enzo. With her suggestions he sleeps thru the night with no problems and we are greeted with a very happy puppy every morning.
