Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Love Struck Cavaliers located in Canyon Lake, TX. I offer incredibly healthy and well-balanced Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies so that they can bring joy to others! My dogs' DNA and veterinary health is the most important base of my breeding program along with proper temperament and conformation. I started out breeding Cavaliers while working at the Veterinary Clinic as a veterinary technician. I believe in providing new families with the healthiest and most perfect Cavaliers that I can produce.

Q. & A. with Stephanie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I had a breeder that had come in to my vet hospital where I was working at the time. They had a cavalier that was returned to them from a breeding home and said he didn't do well with other males and had an injury to his eye. We had just lost our dog weeks earlier and I was heartbroken. Needless to say Kai was just what I needed. We only had him a short 2 weeks and he was undergoing treatment and we had to sedate him for him to have a tubing removed from his eyelids and he passed for unknown reasons. Just the short two weeks we had I knew in my heart I would never be without a CKC spaniel in my life. They are truly the most wonderful dogs. Kai was willing to do whatever I wanted to do and whenever I wanted to do it. Whether we watched TV or went swimming in the lake or out on the boat. Just happy go lucky easy to train and sweet as pie. After losing Kai I went on to find another male that just so happened to be a half sibling of his, the breeder gave me choice of guardianship or full registration since he knew me from the Vet clinic. Little did I know it was just the beginning ... as you may have heard the saying that "Cavaliers are like potato chips you can't just have one of them!"
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blenheim and ruby. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

The deposit gets you on the list as a first pick out of the litter. If you have a specific gender and color you will have the first choice. If you don't choose from the current litter then your deposit goes to the next litter and so on up to two passes are acceptable unless both parties agree upon another option.”
