I'm the breeder behind Lover Dover Doodles located in Port Charlotte, FL. We are a small, family-run breeding program focusing on quality care and good health. Our puppies are the perfect loving and loyal companions!
Q. & A. with Tina
Why did you start breeding?
After spending years as a licensed childcare provider, and a loving pet owner, the goldendoodle temperament and emotional companionship captured our hearts. We aim to only have 1-2 litters a year and select only the best pairings to bring high quality, health tested, gorgeous even tempered additions to your family.
What makes your program special?
We limit our moms to 3-4 litters MAX. We prioritize health/genetic testing and provide early screenings to ensure your new fur baby is a healthy fit for your family. Moms are given extra care and attention before, during, and after breeding. They are our family pets! You will meet your puppy’s mom, their older siblings, and grandma! You will belong to our extended doodle family. ❤️
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, red, black, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Tina was absolutley fantastic throughout the entire process. As a breeder, she took the time to explain all of the puppies, their parents and even the grandparents to ensure my decision was based on solid information. Rusty (was Aster) is the delight of my entire family. He is smart, easy to train (Tina had already taught him to sit and basic crate and potty training), with a delightful mellow and goofy personality. When I picked him up, he ran to my legs and we bonded quickly. Such a wonderful experience and my full recommendation for a puppy from lover dover doodles. You will find a healthy, happy, well socialized friend for life. The vet I took him to said he was very healthy and I had to ask for Rusty back because he had fallen asleep on his shoulder.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
