Lowcountry Goldens

Cathy I.

Certified Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Lowcountry Goldens located in Hollywood, SC. We raise Golden Retrievers and Multigen Standard and Medium Goldendoodles. Our first priority is the health and temperament of the dams and sires we choose. Our goal is to produce puppies that are happy, healthy, and well-rounded. We hope to make you part of the LCG family.

Q. & A. with Cathy

  • Why did you start breeding?

When we became guardians for our oldest Golden, we had a tragedy happen in our family. She became a therapy dog without us even realizing what was happening. About 6 months later, I realized how much she had meant to us in the midst of darkness and decided there was nothing more important for me to do than to raise the best dogs I could for other families to love as much as we loved her.
  • What makes your program special?

The health of our girls and the studs we choose is extremely important to us. Raising puppies with love, kindness, and gentleness so that they can be a blessing to the families that choose them is our goal. Offering lifetime support to our families allows them to feel like they are an extension of our family. We are a community.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
