I'm the breeder behind Lowilani Cavaliers and English Toys (Charlies) located in Bend, OR. Focusing on soundness, health, and temperament. For more than 14 years, we have been breeding cavaliers for show and companionship. Learn more about our dogs, stay up to date with litter and show announcements. I do not sell show dogs or breeding stock. I find the best suited families to work with that are looking for companions. Spay/neuter contracts only.
Q. & A. with Aloha
Why did you start breeding?
I started with my first cavalier, Evie, in 2008 with the high hopes of being able to show, although she was a great ambassador for the breed, she turned out to be a companion only. However, I fell in love with the breed and its versatility. I soon found my love for showing and handling so much that I had the “show fever” and couldn’t get enough of it.
What makes your program special?
We are a very small breeder that occasionally may have puppies or an adult available for adoption. We carefully interview each family paying special attention to the hopes for the puppy such as performance (Obedience, rally, agility), therapy work, or companionship as well as your past history with dogs. We do require that you come to our home to meet us and our dogs in person. We will not ship our puppies, no exceptions.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are blenheim. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

“I typically don't ask for a deposit until I know for certain that I have a puppy that matches the hopes and temperament for that particular family. I want to be sure that we have a good match for you based on the temperament of the puppy and the needs of the family. You really don't know what you are going to have until they are on the ground and I don't like to make assumptions before I really know what the litter will turn out like.”
