I'm the breeder behind Lucciole Lowchen and Italian Greyhounds located in Tempe, AZ. My dogs are bred for health and temperament. They are shown in conformation. It is my belief that healthy, well-bred Löwchen and Italian Greyhounds live healthier and longer lives. I believe in full health testing and obtaining conformation prior to my dogs being bred.
About April
Growing up, I showed in AKC Junior Showmanship. I was able to work under top handlers and gain knowledge and experience with different breeds of dogs. I fell in love with the IG breed in my early 20's and have not looked back since. I am a professional social worker and married mother of 5 great kids. My dogs are an extension of my family and live as such.
What makes April’s program special
The focus of my program is on health and breed standard. I breed for the next generation of my program, which should always improve upon the generation prior. My dogs are reared in my home around my children and other pets. They are raised with puppy culture and are provided a strong foundation to help them grow into healthy, loving members of the family.

Why April started breeding
I re-entered the world of show dogs after a break to start my family. I have been incredibly blessed to be mentored by several prominent individuals within the our breeds. I had a desire to start my own breeding program to continue to improve upon the breed standard and to add more healthy, well-bred Löwchen and IGs into the gene pool.
