Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Lucky Penny Aussies and Lucky Penny Transport located in Tulsa, OK. Australian Shepards give their hearts and souls to their packs and come in many activity levels. At Lucky Penny Aussies we do our best to select our Sires and Dames so that they offer the greatest possible range of activity levels with a focus on moderate activity levels so our pups will fit almost every family situation.

Q. & A. with Tracy

  • Why did you start breeding?

My wife and I started breeding Pomeranians in 1997. Due to a job change, we ended that program when we moved. After we returned to the Tulsa area we decided to start breeding again. We had always been a huge fan of purebred Australian Shepherds so we decided to put our energies toward raising Aussies that would be wonderful companions and service/family animals.
  • What makes your program special?

We take time to talk with buyers to explain what it will be like to bring an Aussie into their family. We will only place puppies after extensive conversations so we can do our best to deliver a puppy that fits the lifestyle of the new family. We are always available to answers questions after the puppy is in their furever home.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
