I'm the breeder behind Magic Ranch Mini Aussies located in Lemon Cove, CA. I have been raising and breeding Australian Shepherds for the last 20 years. Following the breed standard is very important to me! I strive to make sure every owner has the ability to get the very best out of their puppy. Licensed and regulated by Tulare County. I am a can do it all kind of woman! I am a working mom and a loving wife! We live on forty acres where I manage and run operations. I hold a few degrees, however, I have experience that makes me stand above the rest. The quality I put into what I do and the programs I feel are top-notch!
What makes Dena’s program special
I raise quality dogs! I follow strict breeding criteria. I don’t raise several breeds; just one. I feel if I can promote the breed standard I am continuing a legacy. All dogs are given loads of attention and affection and go pre-spoiled to their new homes!

Getting a puppy from Dena
Dena has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $1,000 - $2,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $200.
“Prices listed are pet price unless otherwise agreed. All puppies go home microchipped. They are also sent home with their medical record and puppy folder, food, toys and treats. $200 which goes towards price of puppy.”
Contract and health guarantee
Dena may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Dena offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Dena directly.
What's included
Enrichment and socialization
Puppies are socialized inside and outside. I have eight children so they come “kid-proof.” We play with toys, use different sounds and expose to other ranch noises. Puppies also ride in the car and have crate experience before going home. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, Potty training and crate training begins around 4 to 5 weeks of age., We start house training, Kennel training, Early socialization, We begin potty training along with crate training & believe the two go hand in hand., Litter Box Trained, Potty Training, Socialized with Children, Toys, e.g. Ball, Noises , and Crate Training.
Puppy health practices
Puppies are dewormed biweekly, and given at least one vaccination (age appropriate) before going home. Families get all kinds of info including registration, testing information, food information, breed, and possible genetic disease info as well as microchip and supplement info.

We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Basic obedience & manners, Microchip, Early Neurological Stimulation, Sound and texture enrichment, Dew claws removed, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Vaccinations, Puppy Starter Kit, Microchip, and Food Starter Bag.
Bringing your puppy home
Dena offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
Pick up your puppy in Lemon Cove, CA or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Get your puppy dropped off to you
We’ll meet at a mutually convenient halfway point to drop off your puppy. Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate the details for your pick-up day together.

Why Dena started breeding
I started 21 years ago with two dogs I loved and wanted to share with friends. From there it grew! Lesson by lesson and year by year I learned more and continued doing what I love! We raise other ranch animals and breed them and use them as part of our ranch. It is all part of the ranch!
