We hike/ train on our property which consists of 5 acre yard and then a stream that runs through our front yard and then its woods up the mountainside. This works great for training and introducing all grounds we want a dog trained on. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with children, Socialized with other animals, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Confidence building, eye contact, and general initial potty training., Early Socialization, Puppy temperament evaluation , Body handling protocol, including sitting still for grooming, No bite training, Recall training, Bird Introduction, surface and tactile stimulation, neural stimulation, Initial House Training, Scent Introduction, Noise desensitization, Doggy door training , Car Training , Human Interactions , Basic manners, Crate Training, "No" Biting or Chewing, and Potty Training.
All puppies are started on fresh goats milk that is milked daily. We introduce ground beef puree with goats milk. From that they are introduced to Greek yogurt, egg, and then Pro Plan puppy food with the fresh foods also. We always make most of our food trying to keep what goes into our pups from birth the best possible. Our pups are wormed at 2,3,4,6,8 weeks. Nails trimmed weekly. Ears are checked and they learn to sit for grooming. Baths are given solely for a training purpose while young. Once pups are weaned they have food topdressed onto the kibble. This includes chicken, carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, apples, and yogurt . We also introduce other meats and veggies. If it's in season many fruits will be offered as a treat. Trying to keep everything fresh and least amount of processed possible. Though pups are raised indoors, we train in the feild on recall, introduce to the water and if weather permits we get a couple hikes in the woods in, learning off the big dogs.
We send our puppies home with Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Registration, Microchip, Basic obedience & manners, Vet records, Food & treats, Toys, Puppy starter kit, and Initial potty training.
