I'm the breeder behind Mayflower Goldens located in Plymouth, MA. Our Goldens are bred for temperament, health and confirmation. The perfect pup to me is the perfect family dog. These babies are raised inside my home alongside my 3 small children, old Great Dane, cats, chickens and turkeys. They will be very well loved, socialized and beginning training.

Our puppies are introduced to a variety of sounds, textures, and experiences while with us. It’s important to me that they explore any possible “fears” while with the comfort of mom and siblings. We have children in the house who safely handle the puppies and expose the pups to the surprising noises children bring along. We play music, firework noises and bring in new obstacles frequently. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, Livestock interactions, grooming , We begin potty training along with crate training & believe the two go hand in hand., Early socialization, Initial House Training, Litter Box Trained, Obedience training started, Human Interactions , Potty pads,, Impulse Control, Puppy Manners, Puppy Culture , Basic manners, Name recognition , Sit Command, Potty training, crate training, Leash Walking, Crate Training, "No" Biting or Chewing, and Potty Training.
All puppies go home with age appropriate vaccinations, deworming and a health clearance.
We send our puppies home with Toys, Puppy starter kit, Initial potty training, Food & treats, Vet records, Basic obedience & manners, Microchip, Registration, and Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent.
Ashley offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
“All families must be willing to come pick up their puppy from myself personally. I need to know who I’m handing these babies over to ”
Why Ashley started breeding
I used to breed Great Danes when I had trouble finding a breeder who didn’t just stick two dogs together. I found a passion for helping people find a health tested, quality puppy to love. As my family grew and changed so didn’t our dogs. I missed breeding, the health testing, the connecting with families so set out to find a phenomenal golden puppy to begin the journey all over again.

About Ailsa
Ailsa, aka Elsie is the absolute sweetest dog I’ve had the pleasure of owning. Her gentle disposition makes her a wonderful family dog. Not only does she live with 3 small children, she also comes to work with me at a preschool. She is very calm. Not a high energy dog at all. Just loves to be brushed, pet and be near her people. Elsie has blossomed into an incredible mother. I can’t say enough great things about her wonderful disposition and dedication to her babies. Elsie is ofa health tested in hips, elbows eyes and heart as well as embark genetic tested.
