I'm Rachel M., the breeder behind Milady’s Shelties East Texas located in Lufkin, TX. We strive to have a small breeding program with the best interest of our puppies’ health and longevity. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families.
Q. & A. with Rachel
Why did you start breeding?
My mother was and still is a sheltie breeder. I’ve been around Shelties my whole life and loved going into the shows with my mom.
What makes your program special?
All my sweet fur babies are in my home. I love on and socialize my shelties with other animals, children and elderly. My dogs go places with me and live their best life. I do 2-4 litters a year.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle and white, sable and white, and black white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
