Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind O’Dell Labs located in Sullivan, MO. Our breeding program emphasizes health testing and quality genetics, with a focus on temperament, working skills, and training. Our dogs are excellent family dogs. We breed both to provide families with loving, capable companions and to improve upon our dogs' fantastic traits with each generation.

Amy’s experience

  • About Amy

Labs were my husband's favorite breed, and once we got our first one, they immediately became mine as well! We started out with one pair, and then began adding more females and more lines, keeping our original line going also because they were so loyal, beautiful, and intelligent. Those are still the traits we strive to keep going, & are blessed to have grown our O'Dell Lab family over the years.

  • What makes Amy’s program special

We believe you should choose a breeder first, and then the puppy that's right for you will come naturally as we get to know each other and what you are looking for. We do early neurological stimulation to improve the health and immunity levels of our babies, then use the Puppy Culture protocols to help get our pups ready for learning when they get to their new homes.

More about Amy

  • Why Amy started breeding

I bred Morgan horses first, and the Labs were a natural way for our kids to learn about life. Our Labs are part of our family, first and foremost. They have plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors, and now we have grandkids who help socialize and continue the tradition. We strive to improve the breed with each pairing, and we learn more with each litter.
