Getting a puppy from Jaci

Jaci has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $2,000 - $2,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

“Puppies born here will come with a health guarantee, current vaccinations, deworming, initial training, and lots of socialization. AKC/UKC papers to show prospects only. Pets will receive limited reg. Deposits are required to hold your pick puppy. Deposits are non refundable, but transferable to a future litter OR refundable if we do not have what you're looking for available (i.e. no males).”

What's included

Enrichment and socialization

We utilize Early Neurological Stimulation & Puppy Culture protocols. We also socialize with people of all ages, genders and ethnicities as well as other animals good with puppies. We prepare puppy packs which include detailed records of parents (titles & health testing) & current food, toys, puppy training handbook, contact information for us to help along the way, collars and leashes, and treats. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Crate Training , Household Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, ENS, Early socialization, Basic Obedience Commands, Behavioral shaping , Car Training , Human Interactions , Impulse Control, Puppy Manners, Leash Walking, Crate Training, "No" Biting or Chewing, Potty Training, Volhard Temperamento Test, Puppy Culture , Early Neurological Stimulation, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Children, and Puppy Culture .

Puppies receive veterinary check ups and health certifications with first vaccines and several dewormings prior to going to their new homes.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Dentition, Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Full Embark Panel, Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 4A (NCL4A), American Staffordshire Terrier Type, OFA/CHIC DNA Repository

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
