I'm Joseph W., the breeder behind On Point Labradors located in Moores Hill, IN. We strive to improve the breed by health testing all our dogs and matching the traits and characteristics of the parents for each litter. We hunt and compete with our dogs and they can perform at every level. Our pups are also currently serving as bomb and search and rescue k9 an around the US.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Joseph

Joseph has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $300 deposit and between $1,200 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes 26 month guarantee on hips, eyes, and elbows. Pups will be microchipped and have first shots and wormers. Deposits are only refundable if there was not a puppy born matching your pick. IE color and gender.”

Joseph may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Skeletal Dysplasia (SD2), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
