About Kimberly
We have been breeding Chihuahuas for over 25 years. All are raised in our home and sleep with us. I was a vet tech for over 30 years. Our pups go to my fabric shoppe for socializing. I have attended breeding seminars and showed for a couple of years as well. We have big dogs and grandkids for socializing. Car rides are a must!
What makes Kimberly’s program special
My Chihuahuas come first. I am always there when they come into labor and always have my vet on standby. My dogs are set up with a birthing bag and all items necessary. They sleep in the bed with me at night for the first week. They are intelligent, loyal, and cute as can be!

Getting a puppy from Kimberly
Kimberly has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $1,200 - $2,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“All our pups are wormed at 2, 4,6, 8weeks. Pups will receive a vet check and 1st vacs DA2PP at 6-7 weeks. I usually let me pups go to their new homes at 8 wks. If pup is very small-10-12 weeks. $500 nonrefundable. This deposit could be for another pup if I agree.”
Contract and health guarantee
Kimberly may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included
Enrichment and socialization
Puppies get to go on car rides, have kids over, and get to go to my shoppe daily which has lots of quilters to hold them. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, Select friends and family, household pets, television, radio, appliances, scenarios in home for confidence building. , the starting of house breaking, Socializing the dog with everything is the key to a stable dog, car riding , Stores, Toys, e.g. Ball, Touch Desensitization, Early Neurological Stimulation, Grooming Desensitization, Household Desensitization, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Other Animals, Noises, Socialized with Children, and Potty Training.
Puppy health practices
Puppies are dewormed 3 times, are vaccinated at 6 weeks, and receive Da2Pp+C. They also see the Vet at 6 weeks for a general checkup. If I have puppies longer because they are too small, I will do their second vaccination at 9 weeks and 12 weeks if needed. Puppies also receive a fecal check.

We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Registration, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents, and Food Starter Bag.
Bringing your puppy home
Kimberly offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
Pick up your puppy in Amelia, VA or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
“We do not ship our pups. Pick up your pup in Amelia or Gloucester, Va. My husband does travel some N. & S. of Va. There would be a travel charge. Pups must be paid in full before arranged travel plus the travel fee.”

Why Kimberly started breeding
I started with Doberman Pinschers 40 years ago. My female-Teagan was awesome. I moved and then started again with my Chihuahuas. I love to watch folks that get my babies love on them forever. It is so fulfilling!

Kimberly’s Chihuahua puppies include red and white, fawn and white, cream and white, blue merle, black and white, black and tan, black sabled fawn, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
